The Housing Office offers on-campus housing within communities that are designed to enhance students’ opportunities to learn from each other, while also supporting the goals they have established for their academic careers at Dartmouth. Residence halls are the foundation upon which community and friendships are built, and are home to most Dartmouth undergraduates. Dartmouth College houses over 3,000 students in its residential communities. Each cluster or group of clusters is supervised by a full-time, live-in Community Director. Community Directors are supervised by one of two full-time Associate Directors of Residential Education. communities include: the choates, east wheelock, the fayerweathers, massachussets row, mclaughlin cluster, the river cluster, and the russel sage cluster.

there are three academic buildings clustered on three sides of the central green. classrooms, labs, and anything to do with dartmouth's academics will be found in any one of the three buildings.

the buildings of the collis, thayer, and robinson hall cluster form the center of student life at dartmouth college and their schedules, policies, furnishings, and programming are designed to enhance student life. the collis center handles extra curricular activities such as clubs and all on campus events. if you liked to actively be involved at dartmouth check things out at the student center.

the hopkins center for the arts or the hop as it has become known by the students of dartmouth is an amazing arts center hosting a slew of theatrical performances, and various other activities. the mission of the hop center is to ignite and sustain a passion for the arts within the dartmouth community and to provide the core educational environment for the study, creation and presentation of the arts.
