i wanna be laughed with, laughed at just because
i wanna feel weightless and that would be enough Aurora's head was pounding out the drum beat of a charging calvary. Anyone who said her ability was harmless and painless, they needed to be hit exceedingly hard. Grabbing her ibuprofen bottle out of her purse, she popped two of the pills into her mouth and followed them with a mouthful of water. Leaning against the seat of her car, she closed her eyes, letting the swirling colors disappear against the blackness of her eyelids. She needed a break, a break from the crowds of people (granted that Forks didn't have a lot of people), a break from the bright colored auras that swirled around everyone's head. Opening her eyes, she put the key back into the ignition and cranked her rather girlish car back up. Pulling out of the parking lot, she headed towards the forest area of Forks.
It took her a few minutes to get into the "wild" of the state. Parking her car, she opened the door and stepped out, stretching. She was still in her waitress uniform, and she yanked at the white skirt, pulling it down farther on her legs. Rora followed a trail through the forest area and finally got to a place where she stopped. Her headache, thank the gods, had finally ebbed away. And luckily, in nature, they had no auras. No inner light of a soul that could be evil or good. Nature was always consistent. Lovely, reassuring, yet a cruel mistress, as the weather often shows. Adjusting the canvas bag on her shoulder, she continued looking around until she saw a rather large log just chilling on the ground. Walking over slowly, she sat down and took a long breath letting it out slowly. Pulling a book out of the bag, she began to read, leaning back slightly, but not far enough to fall over. She flicked her curled bangs out of her face and bit the inside of her cheek, her eyes following the words on the page.

b a b y g u r l w h a t s y o u r n a m e ? !LET ME BUY YOU A DRANK ,,i ' m g a r i c k m a s t e r s y o u k n o w m e ? Garick was wandering Forks, he had just left from the local hunting zone. The lush green forest surrounded him as he walked by the brief edges of the full evergreen forest. Today he just felt like walking around for no particular reason, in Forks he had to restrict his drinking and kills because it was such a tiny town. He had grown accustomed to the alleys where he hunted, the nature, and the La Push treaty he respected. Garick stopped walking and noticed a car marks in the parking lot which was odd, not many people enjoyed nature. Maybe it was a tourist? Who knew. The weather was okay out today just really cloudy and hazy, perfect day for Garick not too bad to stay outside and it wasn't rainy either. He kept walking slowly at a even pace, his footsteps making soft thuds as they touched the damp lush forest floor. He continued to follow the car tracks, yearning to discover what was at the end of it. The tint of red in his dark crimson eyes were darting everywhere, he had to keep them moving in case a vampire could sneak up on him. Who would be that stupid though? No one sneaks up on a vampire, they'd obviously hear you.
Garick continued to walk, which wasn't like him he never walked always ran. The exhilarating feeling he got when the wind whipped in his ears sending him on a roller coaster ride, or maybe it was the sheer thrill of the speed. The truth was Garick Urie Masters was a speed demon, always trying something new to get the thrill of it. The car tracks started to lead in a straight path to a small little opening in the tree's up ahead, he continued to follow it. He was starting to to get impatient, if this frucking trail didn't end soon he'd probably just give up and look for something else to do. It was so true when other vampires said that their kind got distracted easily. He took in a large breath of the forest air enjoying his surroundings, it sure felt like home. Soon enough after a few more minutes of walking he reached his destination, a girl with dark hair with bangs perched on a large log reading. Obviously she didn't hear or see Garick yet, it was probably hard too see him anyways due to the colours he was wearing. A dark green v-neck shirt, with a black American Apparel sweater matched his surroundings pretty well. Along with his dark washed jeans and green Converses. He was nervous to talk to the girl, she was obviously human and she'd sense that he was different from other humans because of his eyes. Garick slid on a pair of sunglasses, "Hello?" He said in a small smooth velvet voice, his hair was tossed by the light gust of wind in the forest. He sure hoped the girl wouldn't think it was weird wearing sunglasses when it was cloudy out.

i wanna be laughed with, laughed at just because
i wanna feel weightless and that would be enough Aurora tried her hardest to concentrate on the book in her hands, but found it impossible. Her mind was wandering, and wandering far away in spite of the pounding at her temples. Her mind went to her job as a waitress, which made her glance down at her attire. Blue-checkered apron and hemmed shirt that she was forced to wear. It gave the place a "homey" look or something. Yeah, sure. And made her feel like Dorothy out of Wizard of Oz all the same time. But, the job paid her bills and the tips gave her enough money to use until payday. And that was nice. But it was a boring and tiring job. She needed a job where she didn't need to see anyone. No one. All day. No more auras, no more headaches. No more... seeing things in the auras. Pasts, secrets, it was going to make her sick and land her in the hospital. Sighing, she rubbed her face and put the book on her lap, staring at the ground, wincing. All she wanted was to escape humanity, but she was shackled to it. Even in a small town such as Forks, she was trapped. There was no one to talk to, no one to share her burden of a secret. How odd of a conversation would that be? "Oh, Hi. I'm Aurora Anderson, and I can see Auras!" She audibly snorted and picked the book back up. Yeah, right. That's a great conversation starter.
Letting out a long sigh, she let her mind enter the world of fantasy woven so delicately by the author and characters playing inside. Leaning forward, she started to twirl a curl around her finger, oblivious to the outside world. Biting her lip absently, she leaned back after a moment (a very uncomfortable moment, hunched over your lap isn't fun), and picked the book up in her hands, letting her elbows rest on her thighs, a low hum emitting from her lips. It wasn't anything special, she wasn't any great singer, but anyone can hum when they think no one is around. Suddenly, she heard a voice float to her ears over the light wind. Blinking, she stopped reading, listening still, unsure if she had actually heard anything. Aurora almost disregarded it, and decided that her gut feeling that someone was there was substantial enough to listen to. Lowering her book, she looked up and saw someone standing about five feet away from her. Blue eyes widening, she squeaked and pretty much fell backwards over the log she had deemed a seat. "AH!" All that could be seen from his angle would be her legs drapped over the dying wood. Soon enough, she managed to get herself up and on her feet, brushing herself off. "Oh my gosh, you scared the fire out of me!" To the normal ear it would sound like, "farh". It was that lovely southern accent coming in to play to make it obvious that she wasn't from around these parts. Her eyes finally focused on him and she attempted to ignore the colors swirling around him. Red and blue? So he was ambitious, determined and... highly senstive to something supernatural? or spiritual? A sudden throb at her cranium made her wince and put a hand on her forehead. "S-sorry, Hey... what're you doin' all tha way out here, anyway, Mistah Stranger..?" She looked up at him, trying to ignore the swirling colors around his head and body. her outfit =D
